This painting is my personal fave of the (4) done so far. The background is a bit plain but that was done intentionally to fit the theme of the painting. (plus I was running out of paint) a Trent Reznor portrait with a photo from Kerrang mag as a reference. You may see the reference photo here:
[link] the wings are a little wonky but were done that way because of the angle in which he's sitting. the only thing I changed about the pose was his thumb, on the painting I wanted it tucked behind his other arm instead of over it because that seemed more natural. much love from a NIN fan, I got to see them in concert awhile back and was inspired.  I just hope I did him justice.12x16 oil on canvas, brushes not airbrushed. I welcome critique but please no personal attacks on Trent himself, thank you.  I included a close up of the face so you could see it better, his eyes are hazel but I made them a bit too green perhaps (personal fetish for green eyes, sorry).please fullview if you have the time, thanks |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
